Treating Spills & Stains: Treat spills immediately. The longer a stain sits, the harder it is to remove. Use a clean, dry, white cloth or paper towel to blot the liquid. Never rub or scrub Bouclé aggressively, as this can damage the looped structure and cause the fabric to become fuzzy or matted. If a stain persists, use a water-based upholstery cleaner or a mild soap solution (mix a small amount of clear dish soap with water). Test in an inconspicuous area first. Blot gently from the outside of the stain inward.
